What will you do?
- 20% Running the night audit and preparing the hotel for the following day
- 15% Solving problems and dealing with guest requests
- 20% Managing the hotel room inventory and all bills and payments correctly
- 15% Checking guests in and out
- 15% Help operating and preparing food at the food & beverage outlets

Vacancy
As Night Auditor at Residence Inn, you are responsible for running the night audit and making sure that everything is in order for the morning crew. You work during the night and mainly help at the reception, but it is also possible that you support behind the bar and at the (breakfast) buffet.
You start your shift by checking guests in, answering emails and guest inquiries and running all the necessary reports to make sure everything is set for the night audit. In addition, you balance the days accounts and manage all bills and payments correctly. You also help cleaning, restocking and preparing the bar and lobby and manage the hotel room inventory for the next day. During the night audit, you conduct a security check to ensure that everything is in place and order and that no disturbance occurs in te hotel.
In the early morning, you prepare the incoming reservations for the day. You print all the necessary lists for housekeeping and breakfast, and you make an End Of Day report for the Assistant Hotel Manager (Assistant Captain). In this report, you give an update about things that happened during the night. After this, you help with preparing and serving the breakfast buffet and assist guests with checkouts. At the end of your shift, you hand over the work to the morning crew, informing them of any outstanding questions or remaining problems.
During the shift, you usually work with one other Night Auditor and your supervisor the Night Shiftleader. In the morning, you hand over the shift to the Assistant Hotel Manager (Assistant Captain).
For this position it is mandatory to have an eligible visa to work full-time in Germany: we do not sponsor visas for this role.
If you enjoy preparing the hotel for the next day and helping guests with questions or requests, and you like the challenge of working independently during the night, then this is a job for you.

On an enjoyable day, everything goes according to your plan. This means that the night goes smoothly and you can ensure that all work in the hotel is done in time for the next day
On a less enjoyable day, many guests have questions during the night audit. This means you have relatively little time left to prepare the breakfast buffet.
